Layer8Masters LLC was founded by four members of the Cybersecurity community with extensive years of experience putting on CyberSecurity conferences – Richard Greenberg, Haral Tsitsivas, Alexander Braehler, and David Wettenstein.
Richard and David currently serve on the Board of the Los Angeles Chapter of the international not-for-profits Information Systems Security Association (ISSA).
All have demonstrated over a decade of volunteer work for these NFP, and have worked thousands of hours to help ensure ongoing education experience for their members and others.
The combined experience of these four individuals composes Layer8Masters LLC for the benefit of the community as CyberSecurity and Privacy are some of the most challenging issues of the 21st century.

Richard Greenberg, CEO of Security Advisors LLC, is a former CISO for 15 years. He was recognized as a Distinguished Fellow by the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA) International, and was also awarded their Honor Roll designation.
Richard has been Chair of the ISSA-LA Security Summit and AppSec California, was a planner for AppSec USA, and also formed the Women in Security Forum and the Healthcare Security and Privacy Forum. Richard has served as an elected member of the OWASP Global Board of Directors and was leader of the OWASP Los Angeles Chapter.

Haral Tsitsivas is a cybersecurity leader and software developer with 40+ years of IT and software development and 20+ years of systems and software security experience, specializing in threat modeling, product security reviews and assessments.
Haral is the Co-Chair of the AppSec California conference, is an Orange County OWASP chapter leader, serves on the board of the OWASP Outreach Committee and is the Secretary of the OWASP Chapters Committee

David Wettenstein is active member of the information security community in Southern California for over a decade, and board member for several Not-for-Profit (NFP) organizations such as Information System Security Association (ISSA) and Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) Los Angeles Chapter.
He was the treasurer for High Tech Crimes Investigation Association (HTCIA SoCal) and helped other NFPs, BSides Los Angeles, AppSec California and ISSA.LASummits organize their conferences.
David has over three decades of IT/IS experience helping for SMB and large enterprises build and architect their digital footprints. He has earned an MBA and continued his education with various technical certifications including computer forensics.

Alexander Braehler is a Certified Cyber Security Architect and he has been in IT/IS consulting for SMB and Enterprise since 1986. In 2011 Alexander joined the information security community where he is actively involved with a number of security industry organizations. Alexander has served as the 1st VP and as the President of the southern California chapter of HTCIA. For several years he has been a key member of the conference planning committees for OWASP L.A. and ISSA L.A. Alexander is an Infrastructure Liaison Officer with Infragard, he is an active member of CFTF and the Cloud Security Alliance.
